WTO Ministerial Meeting

The World Trade Organisation (WTO) Ministerial Meeting, between 13th and 18th December, provided the setting for the third significant event in 2005. White Band Day 3 on 10 December highlighted the final run of talks the World Trade Organisation hosts before closing the 'Doha' round. The third White Band Day was an opportunity for actions all over the world to remind rich countries of their responsibility to change unfair trade rules and work towards trade justice. The global theme was "Light the Way to Trade Justice".
